 | | National Youth Panel Poster Competition 2010
In September 2010, the IHA National Youth Panel (NYP) launched its primary school poster competition. The title of the competition was 'Hockey is a Sport for All'. It was open to students in 3rd and 4th class from non-hockey and hockey playing schools alike. The top 6 entries were chosen and are all displayed on this website. Each of the top 6 entries have received an official IHA certificate congratulating them. The top 3 entries also received an IHA hockey stick signed by the men's and women's national squads.

 | | World Youth Hockey Promoters Festival, Canada 2008
In May 2008, Carl Allen and Amy Young were chosen to represent Ireland at the 4th World Youth Hockey Promoters Festival in Canada. The festival coincided with the Women's Olympic Qualifiers in which Ireland competed.

The Women In Sport sponsored National Girls U12 Festival was held in UCD and St. Kilian's German School on April 26th 2009. More than 300 girls participated, representing all 5 branches.
